We finally did it! APL's first solo pop up in Mayfair! Having my own store has been something that I have dreamed about for the longest time. I even remember walking down South Molton street, with my mum when I was at university, and we used to say- “how amazing would it be to have a shop here one day”
When I imagined the day- I kept getting the vision of these love heart balloons just pouring out of the store and with that in mind the day was truly filled beautiful conversations, support and love.
Thank you for each and everyone one of you who came to show your support and buy some pieces too! Your kind feedback meant the world.
I am also so chuffed that I got to meet and hug those of you whose names I see over and over again when you place orders from me. Seeing you adorn yourself in your favourite pieces and that too in person just made all the hard work so worth it!
Thank you to each and everyone of you that has shared, commented, messaged me and supported from afar! I know a lot of you couldn’t make it on the day, but trust me I felt the love.
A huge thank you to my team, partnerships and friends and family who were helping me throughout the day.
@dishoom- Thank you so much for being on board to collaborate with us for this, you have such an incredible and kind team and having you there with the delicious chai and bun maska in the morning made the opening of the pop up so special for us! Not to mention the goodies you supplied for the gift bags- your support with this event just meant the world to a small brand like mine!
@soralinas I am just in awe of your artistry when it comes to the incredible cocktails you bring to life- thank so much for being part of the evening event and providing especially themed Paradise cocktails for us! It was such a unique way to bring that new collection to life with smells and taste. I have loved connecting with you and its great to see another South Asian female led business smashing it.
@kavyachauhan.co who I have been working with for 2 years now on my marketing and comms- her organisational, event planning and support has been incredible! Not to mention taking care of all the small things on the day from my socials, sales and logistics! You get APL through and through and I have loved working with you, Thank you! you are just amazing!

@ofilaye who I see as my little brother- thank you for capturing the day for me, so I can look back on it with pride and also staying all day to help. Not to mention for all the shoots we worked on together that were on the big screens throughout the day!
@jazzy.b my studio assistant whose been making like crazy with me in the studio to have all the stock/ props and everything ready physically in the run up to the pop up- Thank you for keeping me calm..

@ceravelabysheema for handcrafting Jasmine scented candles especially for the Paradise collection! The candles smell like my paradise space and I hope those of you that have one are transported to your paradise space.

Last but not least .. My amazing friends and family, my mum- Who were there throughout the day showing their support, helping out where needed and making me feel held! My in laws for stitching and handmaking the net tassel decorations for the window.
Now we've gone one pop up under our belt, it's definitely something I want to do more of! Keep an eye out on our socials and newsletter as we are currently planning a Christmas pop up at the start of December- more details coming soon.
