Like so many of you, I’ve been itching to travel again, and while that’s not on the cards for the moment, I decided to dive into my photo collection from past trips and live vicariously through them. Seeing photos from my trip to Jaipur reminded me of how much I adored this stunning city, and I was inspired to create a collection inspired by this Rajasthani beauty. From its intricately-adorned doorways, to the pleasing symmetry of the architecture around the city - everything about Jaipur is a feast for the eyes.
Each piece in this collection has been laser-cut, engraved, and then hand-painted by me, and within the collection you’ll find a selection of statement earrings and necklaces.
Inspired by the intricate architecture, and the motifs of the Mor (peacock) and Haati (elephant) that can often been seen in Mughal art and Jaipur block printing, I wanted to share my own take on The Pink City. These pieces would be perfect for summer weddings and parties, but equally would be a great way to add a pop of colour to any outfit during the colder months too.
