Diwali is one of the biggest events in the Hindu, Sikh, Jain and some Buddhist calendars. We put on our best clothes, whip up the most delicious food and light Diyas - clay lamps - to represent the triumph of light over darkness. The Sita Necklace from the Diya Collection take inspiration from the Ramayan, as Diwali marks the day that villagers welcomed the return of Lord Ram and Goddess Sita, lighting thousands of Diyas,  glowing oil lamps on a moonless night to celebrate the triumph of good over evil, a sentiment that is so significant in the world we are living in today.

Care

We take pride in our training and skills when handcrafting our jewellery. Once this piece is yours, it becomes a piece in the story of your life, collecting memories and moments for you to share. So hereare some tips for you, to ensure they stand the test of time.

Avoid contact with water as well as liquids, creams and perfumes - these can cause the metal components to tarnish.

Keep your jewellery carefully stored in your APL box/pouch.

Take care of the connecting parts and always store flat.

Avoid dropping your jewellery onto hard surfaces that may cause damage to the wood and cause it to break.

Sustainability

Sustainability and care for the environment is something that is important to us. For every order placed, a tree is planted via Ecologi.

While acrylic is the main material we use, we're aware that it isn't an eco-friendly material in itself. We do our utmost best to minimise wastage and any negative impact on the world around us. We use FSC Certified Wood, and all our products are designed and made here in the UK.

Our Story

Taking threads from the rich tapestry of South Asian culture, viewed through the Diaspora lens, Anisha’s pieces aim to blend traditional influences with trailblazing contemporary design to create striking statement jewels and accessories.
