about the collection
Guldasta. in Bloom
Inspired by the Mughal motif of the Guldasta (the flower vase) a symbol of abundance, paradise and the beauty of things always in the act of becoming. This collection draws on South Asian heritage and contemporary British design to create handcrafted jewellery rooted in both history and the present moment.
Each piece is made using a marquetry jewellery technique, with mother of pearl inlaid by hand into laser-engraved mahogany wood, finished with sterling silver fixings. Warm grain against cool smooth pearl, where the each piece is quietly sensory, rich in texture and intention. This is the first APS collection made entirely without acrylic, marking a significant new direction for the studio.
Mughal inspired jewellery, made slowly and with meaning. A considered gift for Diwali, Christmas, or any moment that calls for something truly special. For the woman who wears her story.
Limited pieces available. Handcrafted in Derby, UK.
